Meulenbase uses a declarative mapping layer where fields are connected through configurable rules with explicit priority ordering. One source field can map to one target field (1:1) or fan out across multiple report dimensions (1:N). Rules are evaluated in priority order, so edge cases and overrides are handled cleanly without branching logic. Configure the mapping once — it applies automatically to every subsequent dataset ingestion.
